Carrier Delivery Updates
Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for your continued support of Pro Football Group! As most of you are aware, the natural disasters that have occurred around Australia have damaged the rail lines and services with all carriers. We have created this page as a place for delivery carrier network status updates and disruption alerts. We have tried to provide a summary of the updates we receive from our carrier network.
Thus far, the below are current timeframes that we have been advised from Post, StarTrack, CP, Border, AAE and other carriers. Unfortunately, as they all use the same rail lines to move shipments into SA, WA and regional parts of VIC & NSW, these will be the expected transit times until further notice. We have been advised that the rail network could face extensive delays and could take several months to repair.
Below is a brief outline of the impacting factors:
- The top half of Australia is currently severely impacted by flooding, depot closures and road closures. Queensland, Northern Territory, Central Australia (regional VIC & regional NSW) and Western Australia are heavily impacted
- Parcels to SA & WA from the East Coast are delayed due to rail infrastructure damage
- Bushfires in Perth
- Deliveries into regional East Coast are also impacted
- The inability of carriers to dispatch parcels in a timely manner due to the limited services is causing an overflow and backlogs in all their functioning depots; including metro deliveries
The delivery time frames we
